Anti-Trump Protests to Hit 25 Montana Cities Backed by Soros-Funded Groups
Places around Montana to participate in nationwide "No Kings" protest on Saturday.
Twenty-five locations in Montana will participate in the nationwide “No Kings” protest on Saturday.
These protests will take place on the same day that President Donald Trump hosts a military parade on Flag Day, commemorating the Army’s 250th birthday. This day also happens to be the president’s birthday.
According to its website, “No Kings” protest says Saturday will be a “nationwide day of defiance.”
“President Trump wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday. A spectacle meant to look like strength. But real power isn’t staged in Washington. It rises up everywhere else,” the “No Kings” protest website says.
“From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we’re taking action to reject authoritarianism—and show the world what democracy really looks like,” it adds.

The organizers of the protest also say they are building “a movement” that leaves the president behind.
As to why this protest is happening, organizers say it is due to the “Trump administration and its enablers” enriching themselves while cutting jobs for Americans. The organizers say they also think the Flag Day parade is a celebration for Trump rather than the Army.
They also claim Trump has “indicated” he is going to run for a third term, despite the president stating last month that he would not be running for president again.
Furthermore, the organizers say this protest is more than just a “political disagreement.”
“They’ve defied our courts, deported American citizens, disappeared people off the streets, and slashed our services—all while orchestrating a massive giveaway to their billionaire allies. Enough is enough. For anyone who thinks he’s gone too far, this movement is for you,” the protest organizers say.
This protest will mark the second wave of nationwide protests against Trump. The first one took place on April 5 to protest the president and Elon Musk.
Indivisible, who organized the “Hands Off!” protest, has been organizing the “No Kings” protests as well.
This group is a progressive resistance organization that was created to resist the president.

On its about page, it calls Trump a “symptom of a sick democracy, not its cause.”
Additionally, the progressive organization blames white people and rich people for “two fundamental problems” currently facing America.
“First, our democracy was rigged from the start in favor of the white and wealthy. Second, in the last few decades, an alliance of white nationalists and the ultra-rich have been actively working to further undermine democracy and cement their hold on power permanently. That’s how we ended up with Trump,” Indivisible says.
In total, Indivisible has gained 204 partners for the upcoming protests. The Hands Off! protest had 156 partners listed for their events.
Some of these partners, as in the first round of nationwide protests, have taken money from the George Soros-run Open Society Foundation. This foundation provides funding to numerous left-wing causes in America.
During the “Hands Off!” protest, 19 locations in Montana took part in a demonstration against Trump and Musk. Two of the largest protest events occurred in Missoula and Helena, where thousands of people gathered to protest.
On Saturday, Helena will have its protest at the state Capitol, and Missoula’s will occur on “BN Plaza at the XXXX's at the end of” Higgins Avenue.
