"250 acres with a projected 1,700 homes."
Jacob Kuntz, the executive director of the Helena Area Habitat for Humanity (HFH), told The Montana Chronicles that its East Helena land development project is the largest “ever undertaken by a Habitat for Humanity organization in the world.”
Kuntz estimated that Rose Hills, which is the name of the new HFH development, will take 15 to 20 years to build. He added that the piece of land is 250 acres with a projected 1,700 homes.
The largest current building project this nonprofit has ever done occurred in Columbia City, Washington. This building project created 58 new homes.
