Montana Gaming Expert: State Doesn't Need More Gambling

"Montana is a small market, and we just want to keep it gaming-friendly"

Montana Gaming Industry Association (GMIA) Executive Director Shauna Helfert told The Montana Chronicles that her organization doesn’t want the state to increase the amount of gambling it allows.

“We are not pushing any legislation. We are just trying to make sure everybody understands our role and that we think we're at a sweet spot right now,” she said.  ”We're not interested in expanding gambling.”
