Nuclear Advocate: States Weigh Bringing Nuclear Projects to Communities

Christine Csizmadia, the senior director of state governmental affairs and advocacy at the Nuclear Energy Institute, told The Montana Chronicles that states around the country are “eager to bring” nuclear projects to their communities.
Csizmadia, who has been tracking state-level nuclear legislation for over a decade, estimated that when she first began, there were only about five bills related to nuclear energy; however, within the last few years, that number has surged to approximately 200 nationwide.
