Stacy Zinn, former head of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) in Montana, told The Montana Chronicles that the two major Mexican cartels in Montana are the Sinaloa Cartel and Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).

Zinn was the leader of the DEA in Montana from 2018 to 2023. Previously, she served as the DEA’s supervisor for Montana’s eastern district from 2014 to 2018.
